How do I take a screenshot on my phone?

iPhone

To take a screenshot on an iPhone, press and quickly release the side button and the volume up button simultaneously. If your iPhone has a Home button, press and release the side button and the Home button simultaneously. 

After taking the screenshot, a thumbnail will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen. You can tap the thumbnail to edit or share it, or swipe left to dismiss it. 

Android

To take a screenshot on most Android devices, press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously. This will trigger a flash and capture the screen, saving it to your device's gallery. Some devices also offer a screenshot option in the quick settings panel or via voice commands with Google Assistant.
